Simba destroy Transit Camp

Simba hit Transit Camp 4-0 in the Mainland Premier League match played at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam yesterday.

Yahaya Akilimali scored the first goal in the 19th minute after co-ordinating well with Suleiman Ndikumana before Haruna Moshi tallied the second in the 44th minute.

Other two goals were registered by Primus Kasonso and Ndikumana in the 47th and 55th minutes respectively.

Referee Victor Mwandike awarded a red card to Solomon Philipo of Transit Camp for a rough play.

Simba still remain in the third slot with 16 points while their archrivals Yanga top the 16-team league on 17 points.

Second placed Kagera Sugar tie with Yanga on points but the Jangwani Street team are above them with more scoring goals.
